Here's a recap of the BADRC members racing at other venues for the weekend just gone:

Australian Truggy Titles

Congratulations to Bad Habit Hobbies sponsored drivers Ron Maya finishing 17th & Matt Chatz finishing 32nd.

Also well done to all the other Vic drivers, Matt Griffin 4th, Adam Alexander 8th, Alan Nankervis 27th, Will Haines 37th and Savage Sam 46th.

This event attracted a field of 71 entrants, and was run over 4 days at the Liverpool Radio Rallycross Car Club (http://www.lrrcc.com ).

Piper Road Raceway 1/10th Electric

Piper Road Raceway had their August Club Day on Saturday for all forms of 1/10th Electric racing.

2WD Buggy Winner - Sean Connolly

4WD Buggy Winner - Scott Rawlings

Short Course CORR Truck Winner (and winner of the HARDCORR Belt) - David Bowen

It was a fun and relaxed day had by all, and as usual the 15min - No Marshal - CORRTruck final including all 12 trucks was a must see! Boxheads new SC10 doesn't look so new anymore!

Racing at Piper Road Raceway is on the 2nd Saturday of the month, and is run at the Bad Habit Hobbies site (www.badhabithobbies.com )

Check out some of the action on Pete's YouTube page here.

Keilor 1/10th Electric

Three BADRC Committee Members made the trek down the Calder to the KeilorOffroad RC Car Club on Sunday (www.keilorrc.org.au )

In the 2WD Stock Class (17.5t) - Bad Habit Hobbies sponsored drivers Scott Rawlings, and Sean Connolly finished 5th & 7th respectively.

In the 4WD Stock Class (17.5t) - Scott finished in 2nd Place, with the newly converted Karl Piepkorn finishing in 3rd, and Sean finishing in 4th.

If it wasn't for the ability to drop your worst round of the 3 finals, BADRC would have had the podium filled!

In the Short Course Class - after setting the fastest time of the day, Scott took out top honours, Karl finished in 3rd, with Sean finishing in 5th place.

Unfortunately Ralph from the SImpsons wasn't allowed to go....

Here's some inspiration:
Tthe organisers of the 2010 IFMAR 1/8th scale buggy World Championships that takes place in November in Pattaya Thailand have released details of the track which will be used for this event. Using a neat scale model to show of the new layout it sports some significant changes compared to that used at the Warm up race which then was a very fast punishing layout with a lot of high speed jumps.

New designs added by BAM BAM!

Now that we've had 'the most exciting mounds of dirt ever' delivered to the Badlands raceway, we need to start figuring out what to do with it!

At BADRC we value everyones opinion, so we're encouraging everyone to have an input in to our new track design for Badlands Raceway, and therefore have set up a "New Track Ideas " Tab to the left of your screen.

So let those creative juices flow, get out the pad & pencil, or power up the PC, and follow the instructions in the Tab to have your ideas displayed to the BADRC Committee (and the whole world!)
