Traxxas Slayer Pro 4X4: The Next Generation
of Nitro Short-Course Performance!

  • Authentic Pro 4X4 Action in a Nitro Powered Short-Course Race Truck
  • NEW! 30mm longer wheelbase and 26mm wider track than the original Slayer
  • Officially licensed Racing Replica bodies and tires
  • 4-Wheel Drive
  • 50+mph*

Bigger. Faster. Louder. The new Slayer Pro 4X4™ delivers the screaming sound and ballistic thrust that every nitro driver craves. Now with a 10% larger footprint, Slayer Pro 4X4’s new longer wheelbase chassis and wide track stance deliver enhanced stability in rough conditions and radically improved high speed cornering for incredible side-by-side, fender-banging racing action. Extreme TRX® 3.3 power punches hard and revs fast to rip past the competition. The amazing Revo®-Spec linkage-based suspension and hard-anodized GTR shocks deliver seemingly bottomless suspension travel that simulates the handling and jumping ability of full-size Pro 4X4 trucks. Slayer Pro 4X4’s new bodywork and officially licensed BFGoodrich® or Kumho tires bring together scale looks and 50+mph performance for all-day fun, excitement, and competition. It’s the nitro short-course truck that could only come from Traxxas, The Fastest Name In Radio Control®.

The Bendigo On Road Radio Control Car Club ran their July Club Day today. BADRC was again represented by members and regulars who also enjoy racing on the black-top:

Bradley & Alysha Matheson, competed in the 540 Pro Class, with Brad taking the honours in the family showdown finishing 2nd, with wife Alysha finishing 6th. Janine Logan also ran in the Class, finishing one spot ahead of Alysha in 5th.

Garry Logan competed in the 21.5 Class, finishing on the podium in 3rd.

Scott Rawlings competed in both the Mini & Stock Class, finishing 5th in the Mini, and on the podium in 3rd in the Stock Electric.

Jamie O'Brien top qualified in the Super Stock Class, finishing with the Silver in 2nd place on the podium.

Disappointingly due to a lack of numbers the On Road CORR Truck racing was not run.

BADRC congratulates BORRCCC on a well run race day with trying weather conditions, and a new track layout that seemed to be enjoyed by everyone.

BADRC would also like to congratulate BORRCCC on being named Host of the 2010 AARCMCC EP National Titles in November.

Recap of last meet at BADRC PDF Print E-mail

Some of the more interesting stories and events from last race meet:

  •  Evo finally getting back in to racing with his brand new Team Associated Nitro Buggy, only to have the front end demolished in the first race of the day when Popcorn landed on it.
  • Scotty 2 Hotty being distinguished in the 1/10th Buggy final by 'Team' boss Sean. Were team orders in place?
  • Karl leading all heats in CORR truck, only to have a malfunction in the final, ending with a DNF. Almost made it with 3 wheels.
  • All the CORR Truck drivers would like to thank Matrus for test driving the track early, and finding that massive puddle for us. Donations are now being taken for Matt to buy either a waterproof Slash, or a submarine.
  • Watching Karl trying to work on his brand new tightly spaced Losi (Darkside) buggy. Frustrating for him, entertaining for us.
  • BAM's race calling, truely great (and entertaining) stuff. Check out the post by Loc'tar orgar on the BADRC RC-Tech forum page (link to your left). Priceless!
  • Race Organisers locating the results board for our little Princess. Touching.
  • Two nitro racers, marshalling an electric race, trying to find the overturned cars that had dissappeared, right under their feet.
  • The Bad Luck Story of the weekend goes to Rok. Broke rear arm on first warmup lap of the day, broken rear shock tower, flat battery half way through CORR Truck final due to generator shutting down unexpectedly, and finishing off with splitting his pants whilst marshalling the hectic racing of the1/8th Buggy final!
